Established on November 24, 2017, the Institute of Frontier and Interdisciplinary Science has been dedicated to the advancement of cross-disciplinary research, and education at the leading edge of physics and its relevant sub-fields. This institution comprises three research centers, each excelling in its area of specialization: the Research Center for Particle Science and Technology, the Optical-Thermal Radiation Research Center, and the Center for Integrated Research on Space Science, Astronomy, and Physics. Beyond its commitment to research within disciplines, the Institute places a strong emphasis on providing exceptional educational opportunities, and is hosting a total of 73 undergraduates and 144 postgraduates, during the academic year of 2023-24. Furthermore, the faculty, which includes 63 professors and instructors, has formed a dynamic intellectual environment. Within this community, scholars from various research disciplines are bound together by a common commitment to advance the frontiers of knowledge within the broad spectrum of physics.
