The Center for Integrated Research on Space Science, Astronomy and Physics was founded in May 2019 as a vital component of Shandong University’s innovative team aiming to explore solar eruption and its impact on interplanetary space environment. Focusing on space science and aerospace engineering, the Center undertakes scientific research, develops cutting-edge technologies and cultivates top-notch talents in a number of fields including space physics, space environment, small satellite programs, and key technologies of space exploration payload. It is hoped that with the operation of the Center, it will help answer some of the most consequential problems in astronomy and space science and contribute to the nation’s endeavor towards deep space exploration by carrying out exploration and construction tasks and creating environmental conditions appropriate for space missions.
