Research
The theoretical particle physics team comprises 11 faculty members, including one Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and three recipients of National Youth Talent Programs. Their research spans the partonic structure of the proton, the properties of strongly interacting matter, and QCD phase transitions under extreme conditions, alongside emerging fields such as dark matter and gravitational wave physics. The team currently leads several high-level initiatives, including an Innovative Research Group Project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and a Major Basic Science Project of Shandong Province.
